RETURNS ON LOCAL ONLINE SHOP ORDERS:

Our policy lasts 7 days from date of receipt by customer. If 7 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate, clothing or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards, Coupons, Vouchers & Prepaid Value Cards or claimable items;
  • Downloadable software products or any Digital Products/Services/Tokens;
  • Some health and personal care items or consumables;

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted: (if applicable)

  • Book with obvious signs of use;
  • CD, DVD, VHS tape, software, video games, cassette tapes, or vinyl records or any product shrink wrap sealed that have been opened;
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error;
  • Any item that is returned more than 7 days after delivery.

REFUNDS (if applicable):

When asking for a refund on any product ordered you understand that when you purchased the product you already agreed to indemnify Bitmart, its staff and contractors or agents against all claims and losses whatsoever that you may have sustained for loss of income or damages suffered of any kind or nature.

Futhermore Bitmart reserves the right to delay the refund until we have received your funds back from our suppliers for the goods you placed on special order with us. All products that require importing and assembly like Crypto Miners of ALL kinds are seen as special order and if we are unable to receive a refund or resell your ordered goods we will not be able to offer a refund until such time that the product has been sold on your behalf or the supplier refunded us.
Refunds from suppliers that carry a loss due to international forex fluctuations will be reconciled and such loss will be carried by the client requesting the refund not Bitmart.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days, proof of payment of the original amount must be verified in line with our AML Policy and can only be refunded to the same source account it was paid from.

Please note that all online order cancellations processed through Yoco will have a 3.91% processing fee of the total amount for all refunds.

All orders paid with Crypto will be refunded in FIAT Currency South African Rand at the purchase price of your order.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable):

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at accounts@bitmart.co.za.

Sale items (if applicable):

Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately, sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges (if applicable):

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.  If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at info@bitmart.co.za and send your item to: Unit 208, 2nd Floor, Building: 29@Marloth, Nelspruit, MP, 1200, South Africa.

Gifts:

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will find out about your return.

Shipping:

To return your product, you should courier your product to: Unit 208, 2nd Floor, 29@Marloth Building, 29 Marloth Street, Nelspruit, MP, 1200, South Africa.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over R1,000.00, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

RETURNS / WARRANTIES ON IMPORTED PRODUCTS & SPECIAL ORDERS:

  1. As Bitmart is an import, sourcing & procurement company and procures products on the client’s behalf with special order instructions, Bitmart cannot fulfil any warranty claims, repairs, or supplier returns with regard to these goods.
  2. On special requests, and at an additional administration fee, Bitmart can facilitate and assist with product returns.
  3. All mining hardware carries a limited 3-month warranty unless stated otherwise on the product page.
  4. Any mining hardware found not to be in working condition, must be sent back to Bitmart in its original packaging to: Unit 208, 2nd Floor, 29@Marloth Building, 29 Marloth Street, Nelspruit, 1200, Mpumalanga, South Africa.
  5. Warranty will be void if evidence of overclocking is present, burnt chips, warranty seals broken and in the event of water damage. Only factory defects are covered under the manufacturer’s warranty. Bitmart merely facilitates the claim process on behalf of the client for an admin fee.

REFUNDS ON IMPORTED PRODUCTS & SPECIAL ORDERS:

  1. Due to the nature of our business, and the sale conditions by international suppliers, NO REFUNDS will be processed on imported products / special order items.
  2. All imported goods are considered special orders and are sold on a pre-order basis. For this reason the onus rests completely with the client to ensure that the order meets with their approval as incorrect products ordered cannot be returned or refunded.
  3. Second Hand Hardware will carry no refund or credits.

Products that carry a money back guarantee will be governed by these terms:

  1. If the machine is in full working order, Bitmart will source another client willing to buy the machine from the purchaser, at an agreed upon rate between the parties. During this period, the hardware must be in Bitmart’s possession to avoid delays in shipment in the event that a buyer is found.
  2. Bitmart reserves the right to reject any claim for a refund in the event that it found that the unit was used for mining for a period of more than 24 Hours.
  3. The Client must describe the reason for the refund in an email, addressed to info@bitmart.co.za and refunds without proper cause will not be accepted. Reasons pertaining to income generated by the machine is not seen as a probable cause or grounds for any refund.
  4. Mining performance in the case of daily earnings cannot be guaranteed by Bitmart and is not seen as a reason to grant any refund.
  5. All returns on warranty repairs are for the client’s own account.
